The electric Porsche Taycan is ready to take on Tesla


Porsche’s first electric car, the Taycan, is finally here. The storied German sports car manufacturer has made an electric performance car that makes a few sacrifices compared to its combustion engine counterparts. The Verge’s Senior Reporter Sean O’Kane took one of the first pre-production Taycans for a five-hour drive through the mountains east of Los Angeles, California to get a taste of Porsche’s electric future.
