Millions of People Are Giving Away Their Privacy Through Ancestry Tests


According to a study by MIT Technology Review, more than 26 million people have taken DNA tests. Although it may be cool to learn more about one’s heritage and family tree, there is real reason to be concerned about privacy violation. Can these smart glasses do what Google couldn’t?


Focals smart glasses by North use some of the tech previously seen in Intel’s Vaunt glasses. They project a laser onto your eye and show notifications, map directions, and text messages. Unlike Google Glass though, the Focals do not have any cameras. We reviewed the new smart glasses and found that while the technology might be the best yet, it’s far from perfect. More Bitcoin ETF hopes dashed after SEC says it’s ‘inappropriate’


According to a note from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), an Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) put forward by Blockforce Capital’s Reality Shares ETF Trusts has been withdrawn. Reality Shares has requested its application to obtain the SEC’s approval of its ETF to be rescinded on the advice of the commission.
